About the Role:
As a Customer Service Representative, your primary focus is helping current customers with their insurance needs — while also identifying gaps and recommending additional protection where it makes sense. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys meaningful conversations and has a natural ability to connect, educate, and support.
This role is an equal mix of service (50%) and coverage-focused conversations (50%) — not high-pressure selling, but proactive, helpful guidance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Service Responsibilities (50%)
- Help existing clients with policy changes, billing updates, and general service needs
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and follow-up tasks with a friendly, solution-driven approach
- Ensure all account records are accurately documented in our CRM
- Handle state-to-state transfers and onboarding for relocating clients
Coverage Guidance Responsibilities (50%)
- Recognize potential coverage gaps during service interactions
- Recommend additional products or policy adjustments that align with customer goals
- Educate clients on insurance options in a simple, approachable way
- Transition service calls into consultative conversations about broader needs
- Support the agency’s overall growth by strengthening customer relationships
What You’ll Need:
- Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licenses (required before start)
(Kentucky, and Indiana required) - Strong communication and listening skills
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- Confidence handling both customer concerns and proactive recommendations
- Comfort with technology, phone conversations, and documentation
